We were engaged by a leading retail and commercial property owner to transform the food precinct.

Working to a tight budget, our team prepared the new Aldi Supermarket tenancy and worked closely with the centre management team to ensure the upgrade of ceiling, floor and lighting. The works were completed with minimal affect on trade for the adjoining tenants.

Over two levels, the interior transformation of the 14,000m2 Myer Macquarie at the renovated Macquarie shopping centre is complete.

The scope of works was extensive, including completely stripping out and replacing all floor, wall, and joinery finishes in addition to structural elements and extensive services upgrade. All project stages were delivered on program, leaving the store team and customers enjoying the fresh new shopping environment.

Challenges of this project included dock access out of hours only, new staff amenities and heavy noise restrictions.

The scope of works included new lighting and flooring throughout, structural demolition, the swapping out of entire fixture kits and complete front end works (checkouts, ceilings, flooring, glazing, roller shutters) during the 10 day shut down. The project was completed whilst trading with under 5% disruption.
