Winmalee Village, NSW

Winmalee Village, NSW

Prime Build’s scope for the Winmalee Village included an extension of external eating areas, installation of lift and shaft, 5 office complex fit outs, pylon signage and shade sail installation.

Set in the small town of Winmalee, Prime Build completed works in a live environment operating around foot traffic and a lot of local interest in the works.

ALDI Salisbury, QLD

ALDI Salisbury, QLD

Prime Build pulled together to give the ALDI store in Salisbury an extension and a full refurb.

The first stage of the works was completed in a fully operational store with internal intrusive works performed outside of operating hours. To minimise disruption even further, we installed new temporary refrigeration equipment while removing existing equipment.

The second stage saw the store shut down for two weeks to expand the selling floor, fully refurbish the entire store and install and commission new refrigeration, coolrooms & freezers. Despite inclement weather affecting works on site, the project was completed on time and of high quality with a delighted client.

Architect Studio, NSW

Architect Studio, NSW

Located in one of Sydney’s most iconic wharves, the architect's office fitout on Jones Bay Wharf brought two offices together.

Project Scope

  • Amalgamating Level 1 of two separate offices into one office.
  • Providing two separate entry and exit points to one of the two offices on the Ground Floor. One Entry/Exit to service the Ground Floor tenant and the other to service the Level 1 tenant. Inclusive of all Structural Steel and Glazed Partitions required to delineate between the two tenancies.
  • Complete fit-out of Level 1 Offices including:
  • Demolition of existing Glazed Partitions / Offices
  • Demolition of the existing wall dividing the two offices.
  • Removal of all existing Office Furniture and Joinery
  • Removal of all Existing Carpet / Floor Finishes.
  • Electrical and Communications works were required to merge new office space with existing office space. (Biggest scope of the project)
  • Construction of new lightweight Partitions / low Height Walls inclusive of painting works.
  • New Office Joinery – Plan Benches, Fixed Tables, Seats, Shelving and Feature Cladding.
  • New Floor Finishes (Both Carpet and Vinyl).
  • Coordination of Office Furniture delivery and installation.
  • Detailed Final Cleaning – Inclusive of Existing External Windows which required specialised abseiling Subcontractors.

Live Environment

Works on the Ground floor office were done in a live environment, with any electrical shutdowns, noisy works, dusty works or works which could interrupt or interfere with the day-to-day operations of the Ground Floor tenancy completed from midnight to 8:00 am so that the tenant would not be impacted. On completion of the night works Prime Build engaged a cleaner to clean any mutual access areas shared by the Ground Floor tenant. Any works which didn’t generate noise or dust were completed during the day.

Additionally, access to the busy Jones Bay Wharf was restricted requiring sign offs from security and no materials were allowed to be stored on site. As a workaround, Prime Build aimed to have any deliveries to site arrive before or after business hours when the wharf was least busy. Prime Build also worked with wharf security to arrange designated parking for all staff and subcontractors, which can be hard to find in any CBD.

Handover

The fitout was completed within two weeks, with the team working around the clock to ensure the project was completed on time and to the highest possible standard.

Myer Docklands Head Office, VIC

Myer Docklands Head Office, VIC

After some successful projects partnering up with Myer, we were invited to carry out some work at their head office in Docklands, VIC.

This involved the complete strip out of 3 levels to bring the building back to original condition. Each level was approx. 1000m2 and needed to be completely stripped out including all offices, floor finishes and ceilings.

Following from this, new carpets, walls and ceilings had to be reinstalled to match a brand new building standard. This included modifying the building’s mechanical system, lighting and C-BUS along with fire services modification.

In addition to these 3 levels, we were commissioned to install a brand new entry foyer to Myer’s reception area on Level 1 with LED lit feature panels and a new automated sliding door.

ALDI Green Hills, NSW

ALDI Green Hills, NSW

Prime Build have completed works on ALDI’s newest store in the Hunter region.

A first of its kind project for ALDI in Australia, the existing trading ALDI store was demolished in preparation for the new build. This made it a time critical project to ensure customers are not without there ALDI store for too long.

Prime Build’s scope included the demolition of existing building with the concrete slab elements being retained followed by the construction and fitout of an elevated new retail store and carparking works to the entire site.

Time was of the essence for this project, and as such Prime Build has implemented a range of time saving methodologies including the cast-in Pre Cast prop brackets and carefully sequenced pier / column / deck / precast trades to ensure the structure is erected as safely and efficiently as possible.
