BIG W Cartology Screen Rollout

Prime Build Rollout team were engaged by Big W as Principal Contractor to provide a full PMO function for the installation of the new Front of Store Digital Screen network.

Works were coordinated through our Project Management Office team to ensure design, internal approvals and logistics were managed in a timely manner and coordinated with the BIG W Ops teams to avoid any disruption to store operations.

Chatham Primary School, VIC

Prime Build were engaged by the VSBA following an extensive value engineering period which saw our team work collaboratively with the team at William Boags Architects to meet the tight budget for this Primary School transformation project.

A complex project respectfully transforming the 100-year-old building into a state-of-the-art Learning Centre with a totally redeveloped administration area and creating more space for play within the school’s beautiful grounds.

Works required extensive structural alterations with 20 tonnes of structural steel installed inside the existing building. New amenities block, teaching spaces, services and external façade upgrades, lift installation and landscaping works has called for careful integration with the school timetable to ensure the learning experience is not impacted, safety is not compromised and ensuring the project is completed within the tight timeframes.

The collaborative nature of the Prime Build Project Team and Site Manager, the Superintendent, the VSBA Project Officer and the School Principal sees the group work tirelessly together to achieve a great outcome for the Students, Teachers and Staff.

Whilst this project has thrown many challenges to the Project Team, financially due to the post COVID inflationary conditions and operationally due to the demands of the busy Live Environment, it is shaping up to be an amazing success.

South Windsor Enterprise Park, NSW

Prime Build were engaged as the principal contractor for the construction of WST Property Group’s industrial development, South Windsor Enterprise Park.

The project comprises of 25 warehouse units, including ample car spaces and onsite accessible amenities. The warehouses are purpose built with areas ranging from 174sqm to 250sqm.

The construction method involved cast-in-situ concrete walls and concrete slab on ground. Each unit contains its own office area of structural steel construction, bathroom amenities and high bay clearance warehouse space.

With this being the first new venture in the area for some time, the development marks a new era in state of the art facilities with striking design and colour palette format, making it an attractive investment for local business and community.

University of New England Armidale, NSW

Prime Build were engaged to deliver for our client of the University of New England their latest Education and Community project located in the former Armidale War Memorial Library in the heart of Armidale’s CBD. The site name NOVA will support business innovation across the region.

The building was made available by the Armidale Regional Council and provides a local, easily accessible base for the University of New England’s Smart Region Incubator from which it can run programs and opportunities that support resilient regional communities.

The renovation of this facility was to create a dynamic, open, innovative environment. This was created by delivering an open conference centre featuring all the latest interactive technology, a dedicated pod cast room, open area offices, a series of enclosed meeting rooms and the addition of numerous amenities to cater for the space.

Delivered in the midst of COVID and forever changing regulations all parties banded together to complete and deliver the project seamlessly and present a great quality project for the client.

Woolworths Welcome Gates Rollout

Prime Build Rollout team were engaged to undertake both the PMO & Principal Contractor role to help address the increasing levels of stock loss experienced amidst challenging economic times.

The front of house security upgrade was delivered over 2 phases, resulting in over 400 store conversions nationally over a 22 month period.

Works were coordinated through our Project Management Office team to ensure design, statutory approvals, landlord approvals and logistics were managed in a timely manner and coordinated with the Woolworths Ops teams to avoid disruption to store operations.

The successful installation of entry gates and associated works which included, floor repairs, relocation of existing produce fixtures/fridges, rework of existing trolley bays and relocation of EAS Antennas/data/media and power sources were carefully coordinated by our delivery team who took great pride in our extensive QA process to ensure maximum uptime of this important technology.

Catch Photo Studio, VIC

Prime Build were engaged by the team at Catch following their acquisition by the Wesfarmers Group to design & construct a bespoke Photo Studio for the market leading online business.

Understanding the particular requirements of the Catch photography team, we carefully balanced the technical stipulations including lighting rigging, curtains & Cyclorama Wall within the incredibly tight lead times. Our construction methodology was carefully planned around these critical items which allowed the fit out to be completed with the Docklands A-Grade building on time and with zero defects.
