We thoroughly enjoyed attending the Property Council NSW’s International Women’s Day Breakfast this morning, where we hosted a table and invited valued clients.
We greatly appreciate the immeasurable value our female staff bring to Prime Build and this morning was a great way to acknowledge their significant contribution.
It was fascinating to explore this year’s theme ‘Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 World’. A key learning from presentations by Nicola Wakefield Evans from Lendlease, Kate McKenzie from Stockland and Ken Morrison from the PCA, was that high level tertiary education and qualifications are not necessarily converting into leadership opportunities for women.
Also, there is a significant opportunity for businesses to create an environment that allows both men and women to contribute to life outside of work, that in turn supports the careers of amazing women.
