Coles Front End Security Rollout

Coles Front End Security Rollout

Prime Build Rollout team were engaged by Coles to undertake both the PMO & Principal Contractor role to help address the increasing levels of stock loss experienced amidst challenging economic times.

The front of house security upgrade was delivered over 4 phases, resulting in nearly 550 store conversions nationally over a 2 year period. The successful installation of entry gates included adaptation to existing trolley bays and installation of new glass balustrade and bump rails providing further store entry security and a seamless front of store visual appeal. Relationship building and collaboration with the Client throughout the various phases resulted in a One Team approach as the Prime Build Ops team were able to introduce innovative ideas though careful planning, design and increased efficiencies via streamlined programming, mitigating risk and providing continual improvements.

Woolworths Fresh Produce Upgrades Rollout

Woolworths Fresh Produce Upgrades Rollout

Prime Build were engaged by Woolworths Supermarkets to complete a National Rollout to upgrade their Fresh Produce Department and provide a new shopping experience.

The national program consisted of 2 phases, FY22 and FY23 with a total of 285 stores delivering to some of the most remote and isolated towns in the country.|

The Rollout Project Management Team successfully co-ordinated:

•Program and design

•Procurement of equipment

•Site management including safety,plant and equipment

•Full instore installation including misting units, produce cases, promo bins and produce tables.

The FFF&V program was completed outside of store operation hours over a 2-night duration. This allowed for no disruption to daily trade and always ensured the safety of customers and staff.

Camcare Ashburton, VIC

Camcare Ashburton, VIC

Prime Build were engaged by Boroondara City Council for the extensive alteration works to the Camcare Ashburton Community Centre including outdoor spaces and landscaping.

Works included new wet areas, wall and floor linings, door and window replacement, external hard and soft landscaping and a complete re-roofing.
The project’s scope developed during construction presented some challenges to our Site Team however were overcome by the hands on approach to delivery by our Site Manager and Project Manager.

Camcare provides wellbeing and support services to the local community. The Centre is located within a densely populated residential neighbourhood, so the interests of surrounding homeowners and their families were always a high priority during the four month construction program.

Leppington Anglican College Stage 3, NSW

Leppington Anglican College Stage 3, NSW

Prime Build have completed construction on Stage 3 for a new two-level Building for the Anglican Schools Corporation at Leppington.

The College caters for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 and is responding to the area’s growth and future campus needs.

Construction type consists of bored piers, suspended level 1 and 2 slabs with INSITU cast concrete walls and stairs, and a structural steel roof system.

The exterior finishing features Barestone wall cladding, metal sheet cladding and intricate feature multicoloured CFC painted panels and window solar blades.

This impressive building provides strong acoustic and thermal performance implementing specific detailing; amenities, breakout areas, and general learning areas controlled by operable wall. systems and a passenger lift.

David Jones Bourke St Mall, VIC

David Jones Bourke St Mall, VIC

Prime Build were engaged to deliver the Ground Floor Beauty Refurbishment of the iconic Bourke St Mall store.

The Beauty area spanning ~1900m2 has been reimagined with new fittings and finishes to complement the recently refurbished upper levels. This new design included the complete overhaul of the Bourke Street façade, incorporating an intricate design in stone and bronze window reveals.

The project was completed in two stages, thoughtfully synchronized with the construction timeline and operational needs of the store.

Minimal disruption to store activities presented many challenges including access to the site limited to before 7AM or after 7PM on busy Bourke Street, requiring high levels of coordination between day and night crews.

A key aspect of the project was the preservation of existing heritage elements and the Project Team successfully executed a solution enabling works to continue whilst a heritage issue was resolved.

A final challenge was the new addition of feature cladding to the existing escalators that could not be executed during trading hours. Full height scaffolding encasing the escalators was erected each night and removed before trade resumed each day.

Prime Build successfully delivered a high-quality project, in the time required, without any safety issues, always avoiding the loss of trading time, all of which was paramount to the Client.

Liquorland Upgrade

Liquorland Upgrade

Prime Build were engaged by Coles Liquorland to deliver a rebrand of their liquor stores across 60 locations.

Liquorland’s signature yellow and red branding was replaced with a modern black and white design with simplified signage showcasing dedicated ‘Wine region’, ‘Beer district’ and ‘Spriits trail’ product zones.

The Rollout Project Team successfully managed the many trades and stakeholders involved to deliver the project safely, whilst the stores were trading, with a systematic approach to quality control.

The store transformations have offered a more spacious layout and improved shopping experience to ensure every customer leaves with exactly what they are looking for.
