ALDI Salamander Bay, NSW

Prime Build have completed ALDI’s newest stand-alone store in Salamander Bay.

The project involved a large civil scope with construction of a sizeable OSD area, integrated landscape vaults and an open format carpark.

This new ALDI Concept Store includes office/ amenities and a mezzanine plant deck, housing all plant and equipment.

Prime Build delivered this much awaited project successfully and on time despite challenges encountered with supply and labour shortages and considerable rain interruptions in 2022.

McDonald’s Warrawong, NSW

This refurbishment of the McDonald’s in Warrawong included a full refurbishment of the dining area, kitchen, bathroom and playland as well as an extension to the kitchen.

To allow the restaurant to continue to trade, several live environment practices were implemented. Firstly, exclusion zones were created within the restaurant using hoarding while the dining area had work done. This meant that the store could still trade for walk in customers (served at the front counter) as well as drive thru.

The project was also done in stages to allow the restaurant to continue trade with the team working efficiently to make the most of good weather and complete external façade works and limit the time required to shut down the drive thru of the restaurant.

Through effective communication between the client and all other stakeholders, the team pulled together to deliver Prime Build’s first refurbishment for Mcdonald’s.

ISPT Winmalee Shopping Centre, NSW

Prime Build’s scope for the Winmalee Village included an extension of external eating areas, installation of lift and shaft, 5 office complex fit outs, pylon signage and shade sail installation.

Set in the small town of Winmalee, Prime Build completed works in a live environment operating around foot traffic and a lot of local interest in the works.

Working closely with the centre manager and local business was key to finishing up defect free in this live environment.
